6th May 2009: Standby Saver - double finalists!

Standby Saver has been short listed for two Environment Awards ceremonies to be held in May.

Standby Saver is a finalist in the inaugural Yorkshire Post Environment Awards where it is nominated in the 'Innovation' category. Chosen from over 70 entries, Standby Saver stands alongside an impressive final shortlist. The winner will be announced at the forthcoming ceremony held in Leeds where Climate Change Minister Ed Miliband is guest speaker.

This month also sees the prestigious 'Environment and Energy Awards' held in association with Sustainability live! exhibition. Standby Saver is a finalist in the 'Energy Product /Service Award' category. The winning product has to demonstrate significant energy saving benefits to scoop the coveted title. The ceremony is the industry's annual celebration of excellence and innovation in the energy and environmental sectors.
