18th August 2008: Energy Saving Device is competition finalist

Standby Saver has turned some heads at national trade magazine Electrical Times. The publishers organise The Electrical Industry Awards 2008 and have confirmed Standby Saver as a finalist in the following Awards categories:

Innovative Power Product of the Year

Innovative Residential/Domestic Product of the Year

"The number and overall quality of entries has far exceeded previous years, and to have reached this stage of the awards should be viewed as a real achievement", writes Ben Cronin, Editor, The Electrical Awards.

The award winners will be announced at a black tie gala dinner to be held at the Marriott Hotel in London on 29th October this year. Presenting the awards will be top televison and radio comedian Fred MacAuley.
