"I use your standby saver and this energy wizard is very effective even with my minimal use. Before I plugged it in our usage was about 6.8 kWh per day, that's now down to 6 and sometimes into the 5's. That's good I've been told for a 3 bedroom semi with 2 young children and someone who runs a server and works from home using 2 laptops. I am so impressed I have already informed 3 people in the office of my data results (being a software coder I wrote a little app) and 2 of them have already purchased it. One chap is hoping if he can save 10% he'll be £100 a year better off at home, that beats searching for the cheapest electricity deal".

"Thanks for the helpful reply. I've gone with the 6-way IR option and reconfigured my AV rack to suit. Have to say I'm very pleased with the product, which I'm using for both standby saving and as a remote room lighting controller. It even accommodates my Microsoft Media Centre IR remote, despite the Microsoft transmitter's insistence on sending a different code on each key press (to prevent reflected echoes from being misinterpreted as two commands). Good luck with the business. I'll certainly be recommending the products - personally".

Normally appliances like freeview boxes need a constant supply of electricity otherwise they "forget" the channel line up. Not with this device. The red standby light goes out on the freeview box and I do not have to re-scan for channels when I switch it on again. It only takes 30 seconds for the sky box to recall the entire channel line-up. It is much better than having such appliances left on standby when they are not even being used.
For these reasons I hold this product in very high regard. Especially with energy bills constantly rising, this product becomes a better investment by the day."
